There is another side to Glasgow today.
After the rioting by a minority group of unionists in Glasgow’s George Square last night, which shamed and embarrassed our wonderful country, a new scene showed its face today.
Several groups of people have now left over 100 bags with donations for Glasgow’s homeless food banks on George Square under peace flags. This is the Glasgow and Scotland that I know and love.
We will continue fighting for a better country. To bring an end to austerity, to food banks, to immoral, illegal nuclear weapons of mass destruction.
You know those annoying students that say they think they’ve failed and then get good results? Once I thought I failed my russian history exam but I got 91/100 and then there was some exam marking drama ‘cause loads of people did bad/got poorer grades than expected so 9marks was added to everyone’s so technically on paper I got 100/100 on an exam I was spending weeks saying I failed omg
When you get to the bottom of a really shitty post and you have to scroll back up like “who the Heck put this on my dash”
This is what I’m like with heights, I easily stuck my head through one of the holes on the eiffel tower but I always have to edge myself towards the edge of something up high without a barrier ‘cause I feel like I’m gonna die
Looking back I’m so proud of lil me ‘cause I was constantly facing my worst fear? I was petrified of heights but was determined to go on roller-coasters without making a fuss and constantly went up hills without making a fuss and climbed up spiral staircases in castles without making a fuss like I did all these things that made my legs feel wobbly and made me wanna cry and not do but I did them all anyway as though it was nothing a+++ lil me u did a gr8 job
Going camping tomorrow until tuesday evening with my dad which should be nice because I leave again for southampton on thursday and he’s a+ at camping (I’ve never been omg) and also it’s at the lake district!!! he asked me to pick anywhere in britain so ofc I was gonna choose my favourite place in england oh my god I am so excited to see all the views you have no idea like whenever I’m tired when I go walking there I remember that I’m in the lake district and then I don’t care that I’m tired
